We start with a private pick-up from your hotel in Barcelona and head to a pre-booked boutique winery in the Penedès wine region.
A guided tour and wine or cava tasting lasts approximately 1.5–2 hours. Tasting prices start from €25 per person depending on the winery and selected format.
After the visit, we enjoy a relaxed countryside lunch in a traditional estate.
In the second part of the day, we continue to Montserrat Mountain.
You may reach the panoramic viewpoints by funicular (€13.50 round trip per person) or by our vehicle.
Visit the Black Madonna, taste local cheeses, enjoy breathtaking views and optional photo session.
According to legend, the statue of the Black Madonna of Montserrat was discovered in the 9th century by shepherd boys who saw a mysterious light and heard angelic music in the mountains. When villagers tried to move the statue to a nearby town, it became unexpectedly heavy, as if it did not wish to leave the mountain. This was taken as a divine sign, and the monastery was built on that very spot.
Since then, Montserrat has been considered a sacred place of power, where visitors come to make wishes and seek blessings from the Black Madonna.
Upon request, you may also visit the Montserrat Audiovisual Space or the Museum of Art and History.
